スクールソーシャルワーカーの職務について : 理想とする職務と実践との関連に焦点をあてて

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to clarify whether the ideal job responsibilities of school social workers (SSWers) influence the actual duties they perform in educational settings. The study targeted 61 SSWers belonging to boards of education within the Kinki region and analyzed factors affecting the duties they practice using multivariate analysis. The results revealed that the ideal job responsibilities, which form the basis of their professional expertise, do in fact influence the duties SSWers carry out. Regarding "building in-school team structures and supporting faculty," the findings suggested that SSWers who are committed to this area tend to be more conscious of their ideal role in "building in-school team structures and supporting faculty," particularly when they are satisfied with their work arrangements. Similarly, SSWers who are dedicated to acting as "advocates for students and parents" also tend to have a strong awareness of their role as "advocates for students and parents."
