Abstract

現代日本の教育状況について大まかな概観を試みた前稿を受けて、本ノートでは、小学校における学級崩壊という現象と、家庭や地域における幼児の育成をめぐる異変とに焦点をあて、何人かの論者の見解を紹介する。Ⅵのテーマは、尾木直樹による小学校における学級崩壊の実状に関する分析である。尾木は、学級崩壊は就学前の幼児が育つ環境としての家族や地域の変化から大きな影響を受けて起こると考える。Ⅶでは、その家族や地域がどう変わったかに関する彼の考察を紹介する。Ⅷでは、20世紀後半の日本における家族の変容についての舩橋惠子の見解を伝える。Ⅸの主題は、子育てと家族とコミュニケーションの関わりあいであり、これに関する牧野カツ子と江原由美子の考察を取り上げる。Ⅹにおいては、以上の内容についての暫定的な総括を試みる。

In the foregoing essay, I tried to survey roughly the educational conditions of contemporary Japan. In this essay, I will focus on the questions how 'class breakdown' in primary schools happens and what change is found in the process of bringing up infants in families and the community. The theme of Ch. VI is the analysis of class breakdown in primary school by Naoki Ogi. According to his argument, the recent transformation of families and the community has produced much effect on class break-down in primary schools. So, in Ch. VII, I show briefly Ogi's account of what transformation modern Japanese families and community have experienced. In Ch. VIII, I explain Keiko Hunahashi's view on the family life transformation in the latter half of the 20th century. Ch. IX's theme is the relationship among bringing-up children, family, and communication. In Ch. X, I try to give a provisional summary of this essay.
