ビジネスプログラムの導入 : 教育上の効果と課題

Abstract

京都女子大学現代社会学部においては、教養の学びのため、英語力やICT 力、データ収集・分析力を身につけるためのスキル科目に加え、ダブル・クラスター制1を採用し、学問分野を横断的に学ぶしくみを取り入れている。そのようななか、大学における専門教育を行うため、2015年度入学生から「社会調査」、「ビジネス」、「情報」、「国際理解」の4つのプログラムを開設した。そこで、開設から3年を経過したビジネスプログラムについて、履修の状況を明らかにしたうえで、その教育上の効果と運営上の課題について検討を行った。その結果、ビジネスプログラム修了証の取得に必要な資格要件（簿記およびTOEIC）が満たされていないことがビジネスプログラム修了証の取得に至っていないひとつの要因となっていることが明らかとなった。 In Faculty of Contemporary Society of Kyoto Women's University, we thoroughly develop our students' linguistic ability, as well as ICT skills for handling computers and networks, in addition to skills necessary for analyzing data in studies. Students can select two of our seven specialization clusters, one as your Main Cluster and the other as your Sub-Cluster. This allows every student to delve deep into their own personal interests. Since 2015, those who want to take their skills even further can challenge themselves with our four Development Programs in International Understanding, Information, Sociological Reports, and Business. After clarifying the status of courses taken for business programs that have been in operation for three years, we examined their educational effects and operational issues. As a result, it was clarified that the lack of qualification requirements which are bookkeeping and TOEIC is one factor that did not lead to the completion of the business program.
