介護老人福祉施設でのスタンディングマシーンの導入が介護労働者の作業負担に与える影響

Abstract

In Japan, care works labor is becoming more severe as the aging of the population and the diversification and sophistication of care needs become more serious, and the workload of care workers is getting worse. The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare instructs business operators in “guidelines for prevention of back pain in the workplace” to use Standing Machines (hereinafter referred to as “StdM”) when standing position can be maintained. However, the introduction rate of StdM is low, and research has not advanced. Therefore, in this research, we introduced StdM to elderly care facilities and examined the influence of care workers’ workload by introducing StdM. As a result, although introduction of StdM reduced alleviation due to the physical burden feeling, mental burden feeling was not reduced and it did not lead to active use of StdM. As a factor, it became clear that the operability and required time of StdM, the difficulty of selecting and judging the applicable users, the use environment of StdM main body, etc. are affected. As a future, it was suggested that adequate guidance is needed to fulfill the transformation to prevent back pain with the viewpoint of occupational health before introduction.
