Abstract: Many low energy foods are commercially available in response to lifestyle disease prevention. In this paper, university students attitude toward low energy foods and sensory evaluation were studied. More than 50% students think low energy foods are tasty and effective for diet because of low sugar and fat. Sensory evaluation revealed that most students did not recognize the difference in tasty for mayonnaise and soft drinks without label. Sugar zero chocolate with bitter taste was assessed as low energy.
