抄録: Actual condition and attitude toward New Year's foods and dishes of students were investigated. Most of the students had traditional New Year's foods and dishes. However they had many kinds of foods including meets, Sushi and hot-pot dish as New Year's foods and dishes. Grand mother and mother mainly made New Year's foods and dishes and only 20% students helped them cook. About half of students felt the New Year's foods and dishes were simplified compared to their childhood and more than 80% of students predicted that New Year's foods and dishes would be simplified in the future. About a quarter of students thought that Zoni was enough to New Year's foods in the future. The students who helped cooking wanted to make New Year's foods and dishes by themselves more than the other students.
