政治学教育の意義と実践 : 大学のCSRとキー・コンピテンシー

Abstract

この小論文では、大学における初年次教育としての政治学教育の意義を考察する。第1に、初年次教育は、学生のキー・コンピテンシーを養う上で不可欠であり、その養成は、大学の一つの社会的責任を果たすことであることを論じる。第2に、政治学教育が大学における社会科学の初年次教育として最適な科目であることを明らかにする。第3に、初年次教育としての政治学教育には市民教育の意義があることを明らかにする。結論として、日本の大学生は、DeSeCo が示す大学生としての十分なコンピテンシーを養成したことを条件として、学士の学位を授与されるべきであると主張する。

In this paper I will consider the value of political education as first-year education（FYE）. First, I will discuss that the FYE should be essential for cultivating student's key-competencies in order that university system in Japan may fulfill CSR as the educational corporate. Secondly, I will examine political education would be the optimum subject as the FYE of social science at university. Thirdly, I will clarify that the political education as the FYE has the significance of civic education. Finally I will conclude that university students should be presented a bachelor's degree on condition that their competencies would come up to the degree standards which DeSeCo indicates.
