The thermal and water-vaper transfer properties of six types of protective materials and two kinds commercial materials for protective pants used by football goalkeepers were measured. We determined that the amount of dry heat loss (Hd) and water-vapor permeability (Vw) of reticularstructured elastomer samples were higher than those of the other samples. Hd was found to be independent of the apparent density of the protective material. Moreover, the Vw values of the urethane sponges were higher than those of the rubber sponges because the latter contain independent pores whereas the former contain continuous ones. The material in contact with the skin was found to be important when two or three sample layers were combined, with the reticular-structured sample or urethane sponge determined to be favorable. This suitability is attributed to the properties of these materials, as they both suppress increases in temperature and humidity in clothing throughout the duration of a goalball game. There has been a great discussion about the effects on the body when wearing backpacks. However, little study has been done to actually situation of users wearing backpacks. Therefore, the present study was undertaken in order to develop a backpack that reflects the user requirements, this paper investigated the actual situation of the user wearing. As a result, women in their teens and twenties wore backpacks at low positions. The reason is presumed to have both fashion and molester measures. Furthermore, women see backpacks as a fashion item and consider color combinations with clothes. The wearing position of the backpacks was found from vertebra prominens to be 95-130mm by the permission range measurement. Vories as a model house. It has a simple and rational room planning characterized by the style before and after the War of American Independence. A Japanese guesthouse with a thatch-roofed tea room was added as an outbuilding to it, which is compatible with the change of life. As a result of actual surveying, it proved to be builded by two-by-four construction and Japanese traditional measuring system and use American building materials. Among surviving furniture, valuable and various furniture were confirmed, such as Bruno Taut’s furniture, Western furniture produced in Japan, craftsman style furniture, reimported furniture and furniture of English origin.
