抄録: The purpose of this study is to clarify the intention of persons in their 40's to 60's through their response to "The Questionnaire about Housing and Living after Getting Older". The response to the question "With whom and where would you like to live when you get older and still need no special care?" shows that there are 1) more women than men, 2) more middle-aged (older than 40 years) people than elderly people, 3) more highly-educated people than not and 4) more people who have hard caring experience than not etc. among the people who responded "with compatible companions in a house together", preferring cohousing.</description>
